Privacy Statement

The journal uses information supplied through its publishing system to manage accounts, submissions, review, editorial correspondence, publication and the scholarly record.

Names, email addresses, affiliations, contributor details and manuscript files are made available only to people who need them for the relevant workflow, subject to the requirements of publication and applicable law. Manuscript identities are handled according to the double-anonymised review policy.

Author names, affiliations, approved contact details and declarations may appear in published articles and bibliographic records. Published information can be collected by scholarly discovery services. Authors should avoid placing unnecessary private information in manuscripts, supplementary files or account profiles.

The journal does not sell account information or use confidential submission details for unrelated marketing. Hosting and publishing-system providers may process information as needed to operate the service. Essential session cookies may be used for sign-in and workflow functions.

Records are retained for editorial administration, research-integrity needs and maintenance of the published record. Requests to access or correct account information, or to discuss deletion, may be sent to the editorial office. A deletion request may be limited by the need to preserve publication records or meet legal obligations.
