Journal History

The Journal of Law, Governance and Regulatory Studies was established in 2021 as a print journal devoted to scholarship in law, governance and regulation.

2021 · Foundation in print

The journal began as a print publication, providing a forum for scholarly examination of legal questions, institutional governance and regulatory developments.

2025 · Acquisition

Acadentium Research, based in Lahore, Pakistan, formally acquired the journal in 2025 and assumed responsibility for its publishing development.

2026 · Digital access and archiving

The journal introduced its online platform in 2026 to make its scholarly record more accessible and to develop a digital archive of earlier print material.

How to read the archive

Earlier issue years identify the original print editions. A separate digitisation or first-online date records when an archived item became available on this website. Digitisation does not change the original publication year and does not imply that the article was available online in that year.

Archived items retain their original title, authorship, issue information and pagination where these can be verified against the print source. Any substantial correction or editorial note is identified separately. Historical review arrangements are described only where supporting records are available; present-day policies are not presented as evidence of earlier procedures.
